I like the moment when the viewer approaches to my painting and touches the surface of the canvas, wants to check if it is definitely not a printout or a relief. I like this impression of illusion – painting, the reception of which is associated with uncertainty, which raises questions and does not give a definite answer. I try to find a balance between an abstract and hyper-realistic image. My work starts from experiments, some of them I repeat many times. In this way, my painting becomes semi-automatic and what finally happens on the canvas is often surprising for me. In emerging images, I discover fragments of reality, the order of nature, and follow it, but without trying to explain anything.
