hair Between 1989 and 1998, my father collected hair clippings: mine and my sister’s. We were nine and ten years old, respectively, when he got this idea. He collected them when our hair was trimmed and packed the clippings into plastic bags along with cards on which he wrote the date and sometimes comments. He stored all of these bags in a wall-mounted clock that always hung in the main room of our home. Several years after dad died, the clock stopped ticking. Today, I perceive the whole thing as a unique monument of time, a work of art created by my father, although he himself always said that he had nothing to do with art. hair, plastic bags, paper; 2017 włosy Między 1989 a 1998 rokiem mój ojciec kolekcjonował ścinki włosów – moich i mojej siostry.
